We believe that education is the key to a successful career and life in technology, and that an education with an early focus on DevOps practices prepares individuals for a lifelong success. With that in mind, we have partnered with TechImpact, a US-based nonprofit that brings technology education to a diverse group of young people across the United States.
TechImpact’s IT Works program focuses on the foundational knowledge needed to help someone earn industry certification and an entry-level IT job, without the expense of a college degree. They have an 80%+ success rate in placing their graduates into local entry-level IT jobs, setting them up for a lifetime career in IT.
To learn more about how this organization, supported in part by grants from The DevOps Collective, has been helping, read the TechImpact FY18 Report.
We also work with TechImpact to identify high-performing young IT professionals to receive our Summit OnRamp scholarship, part of PowerShell + DevOps Global Summit. OnRamp provides travel and admission expenses to our annual entry-level education program focused on PowerShell and DevOps.
